Looking back from the bay

The Beach Bach is located right on the beach on a sheep and cattle farm, facing East across Awaawaroa Bay, on Waiheke Island. The property feels quite remote but it is only 5 minutes drive through the Whakanewha Regional Park to a world- class vineyard restaurant, 10 minutes to a supermarket, 15 minutes drive to an excellent delicatessen and about 20 minutes drive to the main village on the Island.  Awaawaroa is one of the larger bays on the island but consists of only half a dozen waterfront properties, none of which are within shouting distance of the cottage.
